“Blessed are the Cheesemakers” by Noel Chidwick

Story 244/366

Chidwick claims to be the only Noel Chidwick on the planet, and if you Google his name, it seems he’s not exaggerating. He’s written several volumes of “New Myths” of Edinburgh, both available in fine ebookstores near you. This story was one of the runners-up for the first Bloody Scotland short story contest sponsored by Glengoyne Whisky and Blasted Heath. The story is part of Worth the Wait, a collection of flash with the theme of “waiting,” published by Blasted Heath. It’s a tale of a different kind of phone tag played out on a crisp Saturday at a farmer’s market.

See you tomorrow!
