Story 177/366
In addition to being a writer of fantasy with anecological twist, Gimpel is a clinical psychologist. This story, a love story that takes place during a snow storm as fell creatures roam the darkness, draws on archetypal fairy tales. One thing drove me crazy about the story, though, and that was the naming conventions. Some characters had Welsh names and others sounded like contemporary Americans and yet another had a German name.
“Storm Spawn” appears on the Luna Station Quarterly site.
