“Too Small” by Don Winslow

Story 157/366

This story appears in the current issue of Esquire Magazine (the one with Bruce Willis on the cover), one of the extremely short tales meant to inspire people to write an entry for their Short Short Fiction contest. Seventy-nine words of Don Winslow is, in my opinion, worth 79,000 words of almost anyone else. I have been a huge fan of his ever since I read the Death and Life of Bobby Z. There are longer stories by Lee Child, Colum McCann and a joint story by Stephen King and Joe Hill. It’s worth the $4.99 cover price.

See you tomorrow!
