Taking The High Line by Fran Bannigan Cox

by Barb Goffman

From the anthology Murder New York Style: Fresh Slices (L & L Dreamspell 2011)

87/366

This story is told from the point of view of a guy who wants this woman so much, he’s willing to put up with all her games. She likes to screw around with other men, leading them on, having the protagonist watch her while she hunts her targets at bars. It seems like she has all the cards. But of course, when you’re playing games with someone obsessed with you, it would be wise to remember that might break the rules.
