From the anthology Murder New York Style: Fresh Slices (L & L Dreamspell 2011)

Everybody’s got secrets. Even elderly women. Which is why, when Delilah moved to assisted living, she made sure the buyers of her house wouldn’t be allowed to tear it down. But now those buyers have sold the house themselves, and the newest owners have every right in the world to knock down that house, which has got Delilah pretty worried indeed.
