Another noir story. A farmer going through a divorce is grateful that he still has his farm. But his wife finds a way to take that from him, too. Each story in this book gets darker and darker. Sandra, you’re making me depressed! (I guess it’s good you’re evoking the likely desired reaction.)
It’ll get better, Barbara. But yes, I was going for the darkness that haunts all of us.
