In this story, a girl returns from school and is given the task of visiting her grandfather who is suffering from dementia and seeing to his needs. She takes him out for lunch and then back to her house where she confesses to him the real reason she has left school. This is a heart-breaking story. You are lulled into submission by the ordinary details that surround it. Wow, I am impressed with Elissa Schappell
