A chatty teacher at a professional-development event keeps trying to draw the woman standing behind her in line into conversation. The other woman can’t get away fast enough. Just a case of introvert versus extrovert or something far more sinister?
This was a well-plotted story (though I spotted where the story was going pretty early).
