I love flash fiction and admire writers who can create a character, set a mood, and tell a story in less time than it takes to smoke a cigarette. This short and brutal story of a violent, late-night encounter will knock you down and stomp your squishy parts into jelly. In a good way. It originally appeared in 50-to-1 and is included in his short story collection Watch You Drown.
